Summary :

Prof Firoza Begum is a highly trained professional with more then 30 years devoted and proven experience in Obs & Gaynae practice. She is the head of the department of Fetomaternal Medicine since its establishment in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Dhaka, one of the largest and most prestigious health facilities in the Bangladesh. She is a renowned infertility specialist in the country with vast experience and success in assisted reproductive technology and running a hospital on assisted reproduction and maternal and child heath by her own. She is a motivating and talented teacher, inspire students through her academic and personal excellence. She always tries to create a challenging learning environment in which students become good learner and good scholar. She is a thought leader in emerging Gaynae sector.  She devoted her time; experience & skill for improvement of maternal health of the country with the aim to reduce maternal mortality and morbidity, which she believes essential for the progress of the country. She is a highly personable,competent, proven team leader, able to manage department and societies with  accountability for results. Her strong analytical plan and forecasting skills makes her extraordinary in formulating and implementing different maternal and child health strategies. She is experienced in executing and running a quality hospital.
