MATERNAL FETAL MEDICINE Society of Bangladesh
The Feto-Maternal Medicine was started as a wing of the department of Obs & Gynae of BSMMU (Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University) in 2004. In 2018, under the direct guidance of Prof Firoza Begum, it was declared as a separate department by the authority of BSMMU. Prof Firoza Begum then took steps to form MFMSB (MATERNAL FETAL MEDICINE Society of Bangladesh) so that more Gynecologists can gain knowledge in Maternal and Fetal Medicine through various international events organized by the society.
Our Activities
Department of FETO-MATERNAL MEDICINE
The department of feto-maternal medicine, started its journey independently since the year 2004. Here, gynecologists have expertise in maternal and fetal medicine which implies to the treatment of variety of complications that may put a pregnant mother and her baby at risk. It is now one of the key functioning departments in the prestigious institute of BSMMU, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
