Maternal and Fetal Medicine

 

The Feto-Maternal Medicine was started as a wing of the department of Obs & Gynae of BSMMU (Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University) in 2004. In 2018, under the direct guidance of Prof Firoza Begum, it was declared as a separate department. Prof Firoza Begum then took steps to form FMMSB (FETO-MATERNAL MEDICINE Society of Bangladesh) so that more Gynecologists can gain knowledge in Maternal and Fetal Medicine through various international events organized by the society.
